Jason Noel –
The mountain Hardwear Rook 15 is a great sleeping bag that comes in unisex and women’s versions.
It was designed to be used for car camping or lightweight backpacking as it only has 650 down.
The Rook 15 does have the same features as some of the more expensive down sleeping bags like a synched hood and a down filled draft collar.
Near the shoulders of this sleeping bag, Mountain Hardwear has changed the baffle design to vertical to keep the down from shifting to one side of the bag. This is a nice feature that I would like to see with all down sleeping bags and its nice to see that Mountain Hardware incorporated this function with the Rook.
The Rook 15 comes with a stuff sack and a compression sack.
